All about IDAHO:
We visited Alison last week in Boise. We took over 200 photos on the digital camera alone, so I'm picking some of my favorites and posting a couple on here, and you'll need to visit our pics site for some of the others. The blog is much slower to download to!! Some of the activities we did: swimming in hot springs, hiking to a secluded lake, cooking out on top of "Ali's bluff" that overlooks the town of Stanley, ID, cooking out on our deck (seen above) and enjoying hearing the river flow past us, riding ski lift up to the top of Brundage (resort Ali, Heather & I went skiing in March) and checked out the wildflowers - Tyler and Ali rode bikes back down, fishing at several lakes/rivers, a couple picnics for lunch, kayak/canoe in the Redfish Lake in Stanley, viewing various wildlife along the way. We spent the first night in Boise, 3 nights in McCall, 2 nights in Stanley, and the final 2 nights in Boise again. Ali had us do a little home improvements to her new house (Aaron hung a ceiling fan and I helped pick out the paint for her bedroom). While in Boise, we also rode up to Bogus Ski Resort (the one that was a white out in March-and it sucked!), visited the downtown "Saturday Market," and let Gareth visit the Harley store...not that Aaron or Tyler wanted to go there or anything, but I knew Gareth really did. :-) He made motorcycle VVVRRROOOMMM noises constantly everytime he saw them on the mountain roads; which was about every 3 minutes. Poor thing! Well, as you can see, it was quite an adventure, and we're all exhausted from it. Enjoy the pics site too.
